All in One Here!

The Two monks

The Two monks

Two monks left the monastery and were sent by the abbot to the city; Before they returned to the city, one of the monks fell into sin. Then the next day, when they finished their work and let us return to the monastery, one monk said to the other monk. And the monk said, "My brother, I have fallen into sin. I should not go back to that monastery where there are innocent virgins. I will stay here in the city because of my sins. You go back to the monastery." His friend was sad inside, thinking that his friend should not be far from God, he said to him that I too have fallen into sin, you are not the only one, but we will both return to the monastery and repent and return to our former holiness.

The monk who fell into sin said, "No, I think I'm the only one who fell. If it's both of us, let's go." They said no and returned to the monastery.
Then they repented and entered the 7-day Sabbath. Then, on the 7th day, he said to the priest that he had fallen into sin and would not return to the monastery. አለው።

It is very wonderful that he saved his friend by saying that he had done it without committing a sin, so that his friend would not fall into sin in the city. It's surprising. Even now, we have repented for our friend, and have we repented for our own sins?
What we see now, what we hear, the conflict, war, famine, displacement, we have not been punished, our sins are too many, have we not been able to believe and repent?

Aren't we punished for our sins? Look at what's going on in the world, those who speak the truth are considered criminals, and those who tell lies are given a big place. It is very sad that we have passed this time and we must repent and turn from our sins. May God help us, Amen!
